Christmas Recipes - Hot Choclate

Today I am sharing some easy and quick Christmas recipes which are also ideal for less time in the kitchen and more for your family. Hot chocolate drink

1 cup sugar, 2/3 cup baking cocoa, 8 cups milk, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ spoons of almond powder, whipped cream for toping or marshmallows, optional


In a pan, combine the cocoa, sugar and stir, pour the milk and heat on low flame until come to the boil, remove from the heat, serve in mugs with cream on top or marshmallows if desired.

Yogurt and Berry Christmas Dessert for Kids

Vanilla flavor yogurt, red raspberries, kiwi, almonds is cut into pieces,


In a small glass container, put the yogurt, then red raspberries and almonds by layer, step by step finish it with kiwi, you can decorate it with some chocolate syrup.

Christmas Tarragon Chicken

Salt 1 tablespoon, peppercorns,  1 tbsp, bay leaves 2, tarragon 10 pieces, 1 large chicken, parsley leaves, 1 red onion peeled and cut into wedges, lemon juice of 2,

For tarragon sauce; 2 egg yolks, Dijon mustard 1 tbsp, white wine vinegar 2 tbsp, oil 200 ml, yogurt 2-3 tbsp.


In a big pot, combine the salt peppercorns and bay leaves with some water, and bring to a boil, turn off the heat and leave to cool. Then add the tarragon and chicken and put it in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge overnight. The next day, preheat the oven to 180C, remove the chicken from the plastic bag and place it in oven, roast for 1 ½ hours, depending on the size of a chicken. Meanwhile, make the sauce. Put the egg yolks in a blender, add the mustard, vinegar, tarragon and some salt and freshly ground pepper and blend it for 2,3 minutes, then slowly add the oil, blending until come to a mayonnaise form. When you are ready to serve, gently mix the yogurt in prepared sauce. Shred the chicken in pieces, serve with red onions, parsley, tarragon and sauce.

Cauliflower  Soup

½ tbsp olive oil, 1 large onion finely chopped, one cauliflower about 500gm, cut into florets, 800ml chicken stock, 150ml double cream, 200gm chestnuts, 25 gram grated Parmesan cheese,


Heat oil in a saucepan and add the onion. Cook until the onion softens. Add the cauliflower and stock, bring to a simmer, cook until cauliflower is tender. Add the cream, and blend the mixture with chestnuts, taste and served with Parmesan, black pepper.

Chicken Meatballs

1/3 seedless cucumber,  chopped, 2 tbsp lemon juice, half teaspoon coriander, half cup thick yogurt, 1 tbsp BBQ powder, 4 cloves garlic, 1 onion, finely chopped, 1 cup chopped spinach, ¾ cup feta cheese, 250 grams chicken minced, 1 tbsp olive oil,


Preheat the oven to 205C, in a bowl, combine onion, cloves of garlic, complete dry spinach, add feta, chicken and BBQ powder and extra virgin olive oil, and form meatballs. Place the meatballs in oven proof dish and bake for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, make the sauce; place yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, cucumber, coriander, salt in food processor until smooth. Serve meatballs alongside sauce with toothpicks.

Crispy Roasted Potatoes

1kg potatoes, ½ tsp turmeric, 6 tbsp light olive oil, ½ tbsp. Paprika, salt to taste.


Preheat oven to 190C, peel the potatoes and cut into big pieces, put them in large pan with salt and turmeric and give a good stir. Pour the oil into a roasting tin and put in the oven for 5 minutes. Carefully tip the potatoes into the roasting tin, and sprinkling of paprika and roast without turning until golden and crisp.
